Area 1 Agency on Aging
I worked remotely at A1AA as the Social Media Coordinator from 2020 to 2022. As the Social Media Coordinator I worked with Program Managers and the Executive Director to manage the Facebook and Instagram accounts. The team would regularly send me articles and public service announcements that I would translate to engaging social media content
designs that benefited seniors in the local community.
In this position I also managed sending out email campaigns to the various program contact lists. In addition, I assisted with the website re-design. When I joined A1AA, the web page
re-model was already contracted out to a third party design company. The Designer and the Executive Director were having trouble communicating effectively and I was asked to step in to assist in getting the project completed. I was able to gain access to the back end to directly make the needed edits and supervise with the design team to satisfy the needs of A1AA.
The work I completed on the webpage streamlined site navigation and updated the
design to ensure brand continuity.
